The 5th cut indicates how many tabs are visible along the edge when the set is assembled; so a 1/5 cut shows 5 tabs side by side. It is the most popular tab size. 

Straight collated refers to the order of the tabs, which is a 1-2-3 order, meaning that the 1st tab is in position 1 (top of the sheet), the 2nd position 2, etc.
