STS Curing Ovens for DTF printing have digital controls that are easy to manage and allow precise settings for temperature and time for consistent results. The adhesive gelling process is started at the touch of a button. After the set time has elapsed, the DTF curing oven has an acoustic signal that lets you know your transfer is ready.
What is DTF Printing?
Direct to Film Printing (DTF) allows users to print their designs onto a special type of coated PET film, and is a method that rivals traditional Direct to Garment printing (DTG). This specialty film allows the printed image to easily be transferred onto textiles using a lightweight DTF adhesive powder. The powder can be applied manually or with an automatic powder shaker that distributes the powder evenly across the film. Once the powder is applied, it is cured in the DTF curing oven, and the artwork can be successfully transferred onto your choice of fabric.
